In late September, the Forest Lodge Library received a wonderful special delivery! I was working the circulation desk Monday afternoon, September 29th. When I had arrived to the library earlier that day, the trusses had not yet arrived. But, as I left the library, I discovered that sometime in the afternoon they had come!
Later in the week, the crews started to work on putting the trusses in place. It’s amazing to see the building come together like a giant puzzle. Many patrons who stop in and many community members that I see around town love to comment on how wonderful it is to see things moving along.
While work is being done on the structure of the building, the Forest Lodge Library Board has been diving into the interior needs. The Interior Design Committee is in communication with FEH Design in plans to begin the process of interior needs with an initial meeting.
